Has worked professionally in the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area since 1982.
Broadcast Television: Served as Producer, Cameraman, Sound Recordist and Production Assistant with NBC News, KPIX, KBHK, and United Cable televisions. Produced magazine formatted programs, Olympic packages, impact documentaries and editorials.
Freelance: Served as Producer, Director of Photography and Editor for corporate, industrial and independent production companies. OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Producer/Director, California Department of Motor Vehicles Produced training and communications programs for statewide distribution. Scripted, videotaped and edited video newsletters and releases for internal and external agency use. Production Manager/Editor, Financial Communications Network Developed visual content from concept to production for scripts written to accompany financial prospectus offered in limited partnerships through brokerage houses (Prudential Bache and E.F. Hutton).
Producer/Evaluator, Berkeley Unified School District
Developed an interactive diagnostic model for presenting language concepts to junior high school students being tutored in reading, writing and core curriculum. Produced video skits to enhance understanding and support learning objectives.
Producer/Instructor, East Bay Center for the Performing Arts Taught scriptwriting and video production to young people and adults. Produced broadcast PSA's and feature length programs from scripts developed in workshops concerning real life issues.
